A British woman shared her experience of dating a Nigerian man, which left her financially strained. 

In an interview, she recounted meeting him in the UK while he was on a student visa. His passport was confiscated following a fight, requiring him to report weekly to the Home Office, making it impossible for him to work.

During this period, he relied on her financially. Despite being a university student on a student loan, she often gave him money because he insisted she should support him as her boyfriend.

She also revealed on how she tried hiding her payments from him, but he manipulated her into giving him the money.
