I quitted my job, sold my house in russia to stay with my wife in kenya, Now she dumped me and took our child leaving me with nothing
A Russian man named Alexander shared how he experienced financial struggles after his Kenyan wife asked him to quit his job and join her.
Alexander explained that he used to work as a children’s doctor in Russia, earning between $3,000 to $4,500 per month.

Narrating his story he said: “My life was going really well and i have everything a guy could want I was very happy but i felt like something was missing until i met my my first wife who was a russian we got married, has a great time together and really loved each other without any problems however as it often happens, things can change eventually my wife and i began to have issues which led to our divorce after that she moved on with her life I focused on getting back to normal and continued working I still held a good position at my job.”
He continued: “I didn’t let the situation hold me back, i travelled to different countries and took vacations to explore new places I visited many countries in europe and asia most of my travelling really brought me peace whenever i took a break from work I was especially curious about africa because i had never been there The first time i went to africa, i chose kenya because i had russian friends living there this made it easier for me to settle in and find company.
“In kenya i was very happy because i found the people there to be very kind one day while on vacation, my friends and I went to a beach called pirates we were all in good mood, and my friends brought some girls along who they said they were their friends, i wasn’t planning to get involved with anyone there but then i met a girl there it was the first time i saw her and i fell in love right away the reason i fell for her so much was unique at that place at that place many girls were there as prostitutes but when one of my friends showed interest in her and she turned him down I realized she was different that’s when i decided to know her better
“As time went on i realized she could be a good partner seeing this, i quickly expressed my desire to her i asked her to marry me and live together in moscow where i resided because i couldn’t leave my job to live in kenya she did not question my proposal she accepted everything openly.
“Since everything took place in kenya, i quickly went back to russia to wait for her so she joined me soon after and we were very happy together even when we had our first child she didn’t have a job and stayed home to take care of our child which was challenging because she didn’t speak russian we lived together for 2 and half years but then she started changing she became to bad and often said she wants to return to kenya this upset me alot because i couldn’t understand why she was acting this way when i was trying to provide everything she needed her behaviour grew worst over time leading to argument and conflicts that escalated into physical fights this troubled period resulted in too many fights between us.”
In an effort to resolve the constant arguments and out of love for his wife, Alexander made the difficult decision to sell all his belongings in Russia to relocate with her to Kenya.
“my wife upsets so much that i ended up selling everything i owned quitting my job and moving to kenya my love for her and our child was strong that they felt like an essential part of my life and i felt i needed to do whatever it takes to keep us together… We sold all our possessions and moved to kenya the money we got from selling everything was substantial that we didn’t have to worry about financial problems
“When we arrived in kenya we purchased two large lands in Ishiara and began farming, we bought 500 chickens, 20 pigs, 20 goats, i felt secure because i had left my previous job to start this business, however things began to deteriorate quickly after our initial set up we also bought a large plot of 100m where we bought two big house when i saw all the losses we were accumulating i started to blame myself intensely I regretted many decisions i made but i knew they were influenced by my love for my wife eventually our situation worsened as my wife started to act negatively again to me her behavior became so difficult that i felt desperate and even considered taking my own life several times I suggested that we should move away from Ishiara but she refused because she wanted to stay close to her mother it turned out that everything we had set up was strategically placed in near her mother’s home as if she had planned it that way from the start.”

The Man explained that the incident happened when a client visited the property for an inspection and went into the visitor’s toilet, only to find human waste that had not been flushed.

According to him, the situation angered the client, who demanded that the entire toilet be replaced, including the wall tiles and other fittings, before she would make payment.
He eventually sent all the workers off the site and was left with the cost of replacing the entire toilet.
Sharing the experience on X, He wrote:
“A client came for inspection yesterday and found poo in her visitor’s toilet.🤦♂️
One of my workers used it and didn’t flush.
She got angry immediately. Told me to replace the entire WC, wall tiles, everything in that toilet.
At my expense.She left in anger.
I gathered my workers,Nobody confessed. I sent all of them off site.
Now I’m paying for a full toilet replacement because someone couldn’t flush.
I don’t only post my wins. This is one of the losses.
Dealing with humans is the most difficult job on any site.”

The woman shared her experience on Facebook, explaining that she and her former husband had been divorced for nine months. According to her, during that period, her ex-husband allegedly failed to contribute financially towards the children’s school fees, feeding, medical bills and clothing.
She claimed that she contacted him to have a mature conversation about their three children, particularly because the children had reportedly spent some time out of school due to disagreements between the former couple.
According to the woman, the situation became more difficult after schools resumed and she needed to register the children. She said a school close to her home was charging ₦370,000 per child for first-time registration, including school books, test books and other required items.
For her three children, she said the total cost would amount to ₦1.11 million.
She wrote:
“I called my ex-husband for us to have a conversation & talk maturely like adults that we are concerning our 3 kids that since January 9 months we divorced he hasn’t sent a dime shi-shi kobo for 3 whole kids down from school fees, feeding, medications 💊, clothing, etc nothing nothing. he doesn’t even care weather they are feeding, schooling or not while he has money is not as if he’s broke. & he told me that God forbid bad thing that he will never ever in his entire life send anything for them. That he have the money but he will not send. Ok now school hv resumed & we all know how Abuja schools are expensive especially this my area any good school here is expensive. & my 3 kids needs to be registered this first term entering b/c they hv been home for terms due to the quarry’s between I & my ex & he refusal for putting them in school. Now good school that is closer to my house Incase of picking them up there registration for first entrance is 370k per child including there main school book, test book, different wears like practically everything. Now multiply 370k into 3 = 1,110,000 I even told him to come make the enquirements himself in the school to be sure am telling the truth. The main point is that am not even asking him to bring all but to contribute even if it’s half or quarter of the money. b/c I know am married now soo am not expecting him to do all they are also my kids & have be taking care of their bills from head to toes 3 of them for 9 good months now. He still insisted, shouted at me as if am still under him that as he say & will always say that he will never ever ever that over his dead 💀 body will he ever send money to me for them. All I have to say is that is well. God is watching.”
