A 35-year-old woman who used to bleach her skin has shared how the process damaged her skin to the point where she appeared older than her actual age.
The women identified as Lebogang explained that she began bleaching after seeing her friends with lighter skin, hoping to achieve what she believed was a more beautiful appearance.

She used various bleaching creams in pursuit of this lighter complexion.

In a interview with DW the 77 percent, she said: ” I couldn’t stop at all, I was in hunger for that beauty I even mixed it with my body lotion so I could be light he hole body not thr face only.”
“First I was very beautiful light like a white woman but after the effect that it started and I was becoming red and itchy especially when I went outside to the sun and my skin goes completely wrong.”
She continued: “If you stop using them, you look like a crane, you look more older because you have stopped using them, they are not good at all”
