Joseph Ryan Hughes and his husband Nathan Wayne, who have been together for 13 years, have shared the joyous news that they are expecting twins with the help of Joseph’s sister, Breeana, who will be their surrogate.

Despite their excitement about becoming parents, the couple has faced criticism from some individuals. They have been subjected to hurtful labels such as “sick,” “freaks,” and “trash,” and have even received threats of legal action due to their unconventional family arrangement.

During their second embryo transfer last year before briananna became pregnant

Finding out about his real gender, Joseph said: ” I was brought up from a mormon family I felt a lot of quote mormon guilt about my sexuality, I knew for sure since i was 14 that i was a gay but i was very scared of not only admitting to myself but also disappointing my family or my parents thankfully i had the support of my sister Brianna, she was the first person i told i was a gay”

Starting a family with the help of his sister, Joseph said: “Brianna is not only my little sister but she is my best friend, she has always been my bodyguard and my protector fast forward to our adulthood, she was able to agree with me that she would be our gestational carrier and help us start our family.”

“I have always known that i want children I was very clear with Nathan from the time we met and that was when i was 35 I was bringing babies home.”

Despite facing negativity and criticism, the couple’s friend, Kourtney, generously donated her eggs to Brianna, further aiding their journey towards parenthood.

Despite the challenges and hurtful comments they’ve encountered from people, Joseph and Nathan have made a conscious decision not to engage with the negativity.

Instead, they are determined to focus on uplifting themselves and rising above the criticism, staying committed to building their family.

“We don’t want to focus on the negative and I don’t try to give them any attention. We’re going to rise above.” Joseph said
