Malaysian rapper Wee Meng Chee has faced heavy criticism after faking his own death as part of an April Fool’s prank.

The controversy erupted after the rapper created an obituary-style image, making it appear as though he had passed away. The prank was even featured on a TV program, adding to the confusion.

In the broadcast, two TV journalists were seen seated while a black-and-white photo of Wee Meng Chee was displayed on the screen behind them. The image was captioned with his birth and supposed death years: “1983-2025.”

However, the joke did not sit well with many people, as social media users quickly slammed him for the insensitive stunt

Rapper Young Scooter has tragically passed away on his 39th birthday following a leg injury sustained while trying to flee from the police.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, Scooter was taken to Grady Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The incident happened on Friday, March 28, after police responded to a 911 call from a home on William Nye Drive. The caller reported a dispute involving gunfire and a woman being forcibly dragged back into the house.

The police said: “When officers arrived a male initially opened the door [then] closed the door in the officers’ faces without communicating.

“The officers then established a perimeter, during which time two men “fled” the premises. One male returned to the home and the other “jumped two fences” while fleeing.

“When officers located him on the other side of the fence, he appeared to have suffered an injury to his leg. Officers rendered aid and he was transported to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced deceased,”

Police reported that when they arrived at the residence, the woman who had been allegedly dragged inside was nowhere to be found. The reason why the men fled the scene remains unclear.

Authorities also confirmed that officers did not fire any shots during the incident.

As of now, the exact cause of Young Scooter’s death has not been confirmed.

British actress and activist Jameela Jamil has revealed that the best decision she has ever made in her life was choosing not to have children.

In an interview with iPaper, Jamil shared that she has never envisioned herself as a mother, admitting that she doesn’t believe she would be good at it.

In an interview with TalkB Podcast, she shared that she got married on October 22, 1988. At the time, she was pregnant but sadly suffered a miscarriage. Since then, she has been trying to conceive again without success, which has caused issues in her marriage.

She said: “I got married on October 22, 1988. I had been practicing theatre, and the person I married knew about it at the time and was not upset. However, his job required him to be available for two weeks and then unavailable for the next two weeks.

In our marriage, we did not have a child, although I entered the marriage pregnant. I lost the pregnancy weeks into the wedding. Since then, we have done a lot of tests. At one point, I was told they would perform a procedure where they would open me up, and if my husband had intercourse with me, I would become pregnant. We went ahead with the procedure, but my husband did not show up until three months later.

When he returned, I became angry. He asked why I was angry and said I should have moved out if I was tired of the marriage. By then, we were already five years into the marriage. There were rumors that my life was in danger, so I had to leave.

Two weeks after I left the marriage, he brought in another woman who was pregnant. The situation left me so depressed that I started drinking alcohol at the time.”

Considering remarrying after her marriage crashed, she added: ““I had initially decided that I would not get married again until I met an Alhaji who was like a father to me. I wished I had met him before my failed marriage. We tried IVF twice, but it did not work.

When I was about 40, I got pregnant but did not know it at the time. I used to feel pain in my abdomen and went to the hospital for tests and scans. I was told I was pregnant, but it was an ectopic pregnancy. After the procedure, I have not been able to get pregnant since.

I left the marriage with the Alhaji when his first wife started having issues with him. I considered adoption, but my mother said she would kill any child I adopted. I left Alhaji about 15 years ago.

Since then, I have not had a child. I am not someone who broods over issues, and I would never consider suicide. I know God’s time will come for me.

She also shared that, due to her childlessness, she took care of several children over the years. However, sadly, they later abandoned her.

She added: ““When I think about the things I have done—the children I have raised, hoping they would take care of me, but they did not—I am grateful that God blessed me with this job. So, I do not dwell on these things, and I will not. The only thing I want now is to have a child I can take everywhere, one that people will associate with my name. If I had been away from my parents for long, I would have adopted a child.”

On Saturday, Kanye shared a new song on X titled “LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE,” featuring Diddy’s son, Christian “King” Combs, and North West. The song opens with what sounds like Diddy’s voice, thanking Kanye for his support and claiming Kanye was the only one who stood by him while he was in jail.

In response, Kanye refers to Diddy as a father figure in the track. The music video also features North rapping a line: “When you see me shining, then you see the light,” while Christian Combs delivers his part.

According to Daily Mail, Kim Kardashian has reportedly taken legal action to prevent the song’s release and is working to have it removed from X.

Shortly after the song dropped, Kanye took to X again, sharing private text messages between him and Kim, where he appeared to threaten to go to war with her.
