UK Prime Minister appoints Nigerian Born, Kemi Badenoch as the state Trade Secretary

The UK Prime Minster, Liz Truss has appointed a Nigerian, Kemi Badenoch as the new secretary of the state for International Trade and also the president of the Board of trade.
Kemi Badenoch was appointed by Liz Truss on Tuesday September 6th to take over from Anne-Marie Trevelyan who has been appointed for the secretary of state for transport.

Although Kemi is a Nigerian and she was born in South London and in her maiden speech in the house of commons, she described herself as “to all intents and purposes a first-generation immigrant”.
