Most people who get married are just looking for help not love- Author, Onyeka Nwelue
Popular Nigerian Author, Onyeka Nwelue has shared his opinion about marriage.
In a post he made on his Twitter page, he revealed that most people get married because they need someone who could pay all their bills.
In his words;
What most people do, is when they are tired of chasing their dreams alone, they get married to someone or something, for support, someone that will suffer with them. Most people who marry, are just looking for help and shoulders to lean on. Not because they love anybody.
He also slammed those who advised him to get married as he referred them as “Miserable”.
In his words;
The current set of people, advising me to get married, are divorcees. I know they want me to be miserable like them. But, I want to know if there is a special reason why the Devil asked them to choose me?
