A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to express her fears about marriage, revealing that she doesn’t believe she will ever get married.  

In a TikTok video, the woman, who goes by the username Bukolaryy, opened up about her concerns, stating that she is scared of marriage and doesn’t see how women benefit from it in today’s world.  

She explained that after being around married couples and observing various marriages, she has never pictured herself settling down. According to her, she is someone who “takes no nonsense” and knows exactly what she wants in life.  

“To me marriage is like the man is just enjoying, the way people have now normalize cheating like it is now a normal thing and to some men peaceful women are those women that they don’t disturb them when they cheat and when they catch them cheating those are their kind of women, they say this is what i like about you.” She said in a part

A Kenyan tribe known as the Turkana has been trending on social media due to their high bride price expectations.  

In a viral TikTok video shared by user Simpoglad, she showcased a Turkana woman alongside a caption that read: “She’s worth more than $10,000.”

When asked what her husband had to provide to marry her, the woman listed an astonishing number of livestock: 200 cows, 400 goats, 200 camels, and 400 sheep. 

The video sparked a heated debate online, with many social media users sharing mixed reactions.  

One user joked: “Make I bring $10,000 for person wey resemble Pogba? 😏”

Another tried to calculate the value, writing: “One cow is like $20, one goat is like $5, and one camel is like $15.” 

Someone else questioned the tradition, saying: “What is she bringing to the table after all this? 🤔”

Adah Doebele, a mother of seven, has shared her emotional story about finding true love and acceptance after a painful past.

In an interview with Afrimax, she recounted her first marriage, describing how her former husband treated her with disdain. 

“He told me I was ugly and claimed he did me a favor by marrying me,” Adah revealed.

Her challenging journey began at age 13. While working as a fish seller, tragedy struck when she was raped by the man who would later become her first husband. 

Narrating, she said: “At the age of 15, I was married off now thankfully, I began school at Internet 2 at the age of 15yrs, I was just completing my high school that is form 4.

“i was married off and my first experience in this relationship was rape and off course I was the third wife at that time I ended up having three children in this relationship.

“But then when i turned 22, I walked away, I walked away because it was so abusive, I was abused by both the man and his first wife so it became so intense and I made up my mind to leave so i left with my three children.”

She opened up about how, after leaving her first marriage, she met another man. Unfortunately, he was often drunk and abusive. She went on to explain that her second husband began mistreating her children as well. She shared the painful experience of how he would physically hurt her and tell her she was ugly.

She admitted that being called “ugly” wasn’t something new to her. Her first husband had often said the same thing, so by the time her second husband said it, she had already grown somewhat accustomed to it.

“My first marriage, the man maintained that I was so ugly saying that he was doing me a favor of being married to me so i believed this because it is something he told me day in and day out and 7years of being in the same thing you tend to believe not only that even in my childhood, That has been forwarded to me and it made me believe that I was ugly, I was unworthy, I was a problem.

“and so in this man, I began to do that I believed him and he was just emphasizing the fact it has not been revealed to me so when i got married to this second man and when i say marriage, It is not a real marriage like in african context that maybe you are paid dowry for that you got for a wedding it was this thing of come we stay.

“So he picked up from where the last one had left both in abuse when i talk about abuse I am talking in the intense of beating, intense insults both emotionally and physcially”

She shared that because of the abuse, she eventually left her second husband’s house and moved to a new place with her children, who are now in their late teens and early twenties.

Adah went on to explain that her children saw firsthand the struggles she went through on her own, which deeply affected them. They couldn’t bear to watch their mother suffer any longer and decided to help her find a new husband—one who would treat her with love and respect, unlike the way their father had treated her. 

They were also fearful of how they were being treated by their father, and out of love and concern for their mother, they made a promise to find her a good partner who would treat both her and them well.

“My children first suggest to me that they want to find me a husband and i believe the reason why they did that is because they were afraid because they had watched me battered by this man it used to get so bad and twice he put that house on fire intending to actually get us killed and soon they realized that i may end up dead.

How she met her new man, she said: “I Was online for about 3months before i met someone three months i met another person i left the other one and so when i found that person, he became very serious with me he wanted to come to kenya to visit me he wanted marriage but by then he was so concerned about my children 

“I had a problem with that because i didn’t intend to go back to a relationship where i would be blamed for having children because i love my children and i am happy and i am proud of them and i have no problem having 7 children.

“Even before i continue i must say my life has been a miracle because i have watched God worked in my life tremendously just amazingly and on the 21st of december 2011, I asked god every simply if there is someone out there that can love me as i am with my burden please make them find me that was until 21st of december 2011 and guess what? The lord made me, prompted me I was prompted to resubscribe because i have left the dating site because i met somebody so i thought and when i subscribed on the 24th I met my now late husband.”

The National Council of Societies for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) in South Africa has announced plans to file criminal charges against TikTok user Lethabo_Sebapo after a disturbing video surfaced online.

In the viral clip, Lethabo is seen laughing while pouring an alcoholic beverage, suspected to be beer, into the mouth of a fish gasping for air.

The video sparked outrage on social media, with many condemning the act as animal cruelty. 

Reacting to the video, The NSPCA Wrote: “The publisher, who describes himself on TikTok as ‘fun, entrepreneur, CEO and innovative, will face criminal charges under the Animals Protection Act,” 

“We hope this prosecution will serve as a deterrent, discouraging people not only from publishing acts of animal cruelty as a form of entertainment but also from committing them.

“The NSPCA is heartened by the widespread condemnation of the person’s actions, which reflects the compassion many South Africans feel for animals — including fish, who are often overlooked in their capacity for sentience and suffering,” the organization added.

Although the NSPCA is known for fighting animal cruelty and also take legal actions against those who abuse animals.

A couple who remained childless for 23 years has shared their extraordinary journey and the challenges they faced in their quest to have a child.  

In an interview with “HappilyTogether”, they opened up about the emotional toll of multiple miscarriages and the resilience that kept their marriage strong.  

Reflecting on her experience, the wife shared, “There are a lot of times that I will ask god I will ask God “God please” I know I have a daughter out of wedlock but my husband doesn’t have and at the point in that God just gave me complete peace because i just asked God to help him whatever God wants to do let him do it anfd alot of times i ask him how do you feel should we adopt?”

Her husband also recounted his perspective, “When I first came to this marriage with all confidence that since she had a child before it is easier for her to still have children we noticed that she would get pregnant but it would go down, it continues that way I encouraged her because I know feelings from parents, from friends from people around would discourage her or hurt her so much but one thing that god kept me to look at it is that marriage is not about a child, God joined us together, Two of us to live together whether there is a child or there is no child.”

The wife expressed deep gratitude for her husband’s unwavering support, stating, “My husband was always protecting me in short there are alot of things that i want to believe It doesn’t make me here, he was always around and was always defending me, that I know…… i remember there was a time we had challenges with my mother in law concerning it and Thank god for prayers.

“One day i just saw my husband woke up in the night and sat down in the middle of the sitting room……. I asked him what is the problem, he was just humming and taking alone when i asked, he told me it doesn’t concern me I think the problem was when he was coming from work he went to the house to the family house, met his mom and there was a challenge probably on something like that I dont know if it is a new wife they wanted to give him but he was very serious, in the sitting room in the middle of the sitting room and he was saying he is going to deal with this issues that I should go and sleep and that was how i went back and prayed i encouraged him let’s just go and sleep but it was later i now realized what the challenges was about and the challenge was all about not having a child and the rest of them, the truth about it is is like it was very defensive he was always protecting me he has never for once make me feel out of place concerning this issue”

23-year-old influencer and Love Island Australia star, Georgia Murray, has shared her harrowing experience with a botched surgery.

In a TikTok video, she described the ordeal as a “nightmare,” revealing she had saved $15,000 for the procedure.

She said: “It’s taken me so long to open up to you guys about my botch story cause I absolutely hate thinking about it, but I figured if it can help someone out there then I’m happy to share”

Her experience after the surgery was a nightmare, she added, despite the doctor initially sounding so confident : “He sounded so confident and honestly I was 18 and had no clue about anything to do with this and I just thought to leave it to the professionals.”

She further explained that weeks and days after the surgery, she started experiencing red flags. Her surgeon encouraged her to wear a regular bra, but due to the lack of support, one of her implants rotated.

she added saying: “I literally saved every single dollar from the ages of 16 to 18 to pay for these and I was left with the most ridiculous looking breasts”

She underwent another surgery two years later, explaining that significant damage had already been done. She also confessed to losing interest in her breasts following the complications.

Reflecting on her experience, she expressed regret over the decision and advised others to thoroughly research any potential surgeries and be prepared for the possibility of unforeseen complications.
“If I had known all of this back then, there’s no way I would’ve done it,” she said.

”I recommend to really do your research, really be ready for anything that could happen or just learn to love yourself.”

A tragic and bizarre incident occurred when a 45-year-old farmer, whose name has not been publicly released, was found unconscious near a cow in Samambaia, a town in Brazil’s Federal District. Reports indicate that he attempted to sexually assault the animal before collapsing.  

The man’s coworkers shared that he had spent Tuesday drinking with them. 

The following morning, he woke up around 5 a.m. to milk the cows and later joined the farm owner for breakfast. 

According to the Cowroeker, the 45yr old then returned to gather more milk but did not come back, raising concerns among his colleagues.  

Around 6:35 a.m., they went searching for him and discovered him lying next to a cow, wearing a condom. 

While the Paramedics were called , and the man was rushed to the hospital, where paramedics tried to revive him, but he was sadly pronounced dead.
