A 59-year-old hospital patient, Luiz Cláudio Dias, was fatally shot by police after taking nurses hostage while armed with a glass shard.

The terrifying incident, which occurred on January 18th in Morrinhos, south of Brasília, Brazil, was captured on video. In the footage, Luiz could be seen holding a nurse by the neck and using her as a shield as police attempted to intervene. He was topless and visibly agitated, while onlookers and officers repeatedly urged him to drop the weapon.

As the situation escalated, the nurse forcefully grabbed his hand, leading to a struggle. During the confrontation, police fired a shot intended for his leg, but Luiz moved unexpectedly, causing the bullet to strike his abdomen instead.

He was rushed back to the hospital, where he had been receiving kidney treatment for the previous three days, but unfortunately, he did not survive.

A man known as the “King of Bees” has shared his remarkable bond with bees, claiming that he has been working with them for over 30 years and considers the queen bee his “wife.”  

In an interview with Afrimax, he explained that his unique ability to control bees comes from his deep understanding of their behavior. He revealed that he rarely suffers bee stings, thanks to his extensive knowledge and connection with the insects.  

According to him, bees obey his commands, and he uses the queen bee to attract others. “To control the bees, I have to find the queen bee first and place her on my body to attract other bees.  I am well known for beekeeping, and they never sting me. I am the king—I must get the queen bee because she is my wife, and all the other bees come to me.”  

He further explained that he has a mutual understanding with the bees, assigning them different tasks. “I send bees to do various activities—some fetch water, some are guards, and others search for food.”  

When asked how people feel about his connection with the bees, he said, “People are not afraid. Instead, they feel happy and want me to teach them how to keep bees themselves.”

A courageous woman born without arms has opened up about her harrowing life experiences, including narrowly escaping death simply because of her disability.

In a heartfelt interview with Afrimax, she shared that she has never met her biological father. Her mother told her she only saw him once before becoming pregnant. Raised by a stepfather, she endured severe abuse until they eventually parted ways.

Narrating her ordeal to Afrimax, she said: “When i was born at first i was held in the hospital since i was born because they felt like if they released me to the society the society would not welcome me in a good way……. So i stayed in the hospital since i was born up to 3years old so after 3years old that was when i was released.

“So i was with my grandfather and everyone was coming to see this kid without arms because it was something that has never been seen in that county and the society could bring different reactions like you can throw her back to the river you can do away with her, you can kill her 

She later revealed that when she was four years old, her biological father came to her grandfather’s house to claim her. However, her grandfather refused to release her because he suspected ill intentions, fearing they wanted to harm her.

According to her, life became even more difficult when her mother remarried and she had to live with her stepfather. He frequently tortured her and called her numerous abusive names.

She also shared that her stepfather’s friends would often encourage him to harm her, claiming she would be of no value to society. This led her stepfather to make repeated attempts to kill her. In one instance, he starved her and placed food in locations she couldn’t reach, further compounding her suffering.

She also shared that when her mother realized how her stepfather was treating her, she decided to take her to a school for the disabled, where she lived among others with disabilities.

Despite the challenges, she felt a sense of relief and happiness because she was finally free from the torture. For the first time, she experienced comfort and safety.

However, she faced new struggles at the boarding school. One of the most difficult experiences was using the pit latrine. She recalled how both her teachers and classmates refused to help her, leaving her to manage on her own in a challenging and isolating environment.

How she copes without a arm, she said: “I used to use my feet to do my daily activities like washing applying makeup, writing and doing everything and washing dishes, I do it with my feets.

her educational background, she added saying: “I have gone to primary, high school and also college.”

She also opened up about getting pregnant by a man who refused to take responsibility for the child. Despite being abandoned, she chose not to have an abortion and decided to raise the child on her own, she also shared that it was a difficult situation for her.

In an interview with Truly, Desiree explained that they often face criticism from people who accuse them of contributing to overpopulation due to the size of their family.

Beloved influencer Xiao Huang has tragically passed away at the age of 26 following her fourth battle with cancer.

A Nigerian woman known as Baddest Orobo Barbie has shared her emotional experience of being arrested for a crime she claims to know nothing about.  

In a video posted on her YouTube channel, she explained that the ordeal began due to her past relationship with her ex-boyfriend. She was arrested upon returning from a vacation and charged with conspiracy to commit fraud because her home was listed as the location where the alleged fraud took place.  

She recounted being accused of holding two passports and conspiracy to defraud, leading to her spending 10 days in jail before being sentenced to one year of house arrest.  

Before her release, authorities offered her and her lawyer the option of wearing a monitoring device on her leg, a condition that has severely restricted her movement and prevented her from visiting many places.  

She expressed how the experience has taken a toll on her mental health, leaving her depressed despite enrolling in university in an attempt to cope.  

In a heartbreaking revelation, she stated that she has accepted her fate as she prepares to go to prison in a few days. She also faces a fine of half a million dollars but admits she has no idea how she will raise the money.

The wildfires have left many residents displaced, with countless homes destroyed as evacuation orders were issued for safety.

In an emotional video shared on her TikTok page, Heidi expressed her heartbreak, sobbing as she spoke about the loss of her home.

“It really just comes in waves, but I just really want to go home,” she cried.
“I want to see all my stuff and sit on my couch. I’m so homesick.”

She also described the chaos of packing during the evacuation: “The craziest thing when packing for a fire is that your brain just freaks out… You’re like, ‘What do I need? What do I not need?’ It’s so overwhelming.”
