A 61yr old woman, Dr Mosunmola Kudirat Ariwoola bags a degree from the university of Illorin.

The Sexagenerian bagged a PHD Degree in Educational technology.

According to her, at the age of 20, she had return to her hometown to enroll herself in the school because she had no one to encurage her nd motivate her to do so.

In a chat with Legit, she said;

“It was by myself that I traveled back to my hometown to ask to be enrolled in a school at the age of 20.

“I had no one to motivate or encourage me but I knew what I wanted, so I stuck to it.”

How she coped in the journey, she said;

“Frankly, my determination got me this far. A Ph.D program is very tasking and demanding, more so if you are an older person like myself. But my strong will, determination and the support I got from my children helped me to this level.

“I have to give adorations to Almighty Allah because without God, it would not have been possible,”

Her advice to women all over the world, she said;

“My advice for women is that there’s no limit to what you can achieve. But you have to be diligent, focused and prayerful. I grew up at a time when female education wasn’t prioritized but I never let that hold me back. “Also, there’s no deadline for any aspiration.

Whatever you dream of, you can start working towards it at any age, especially for women. We should let the world know that we need more equal rights and empowerment for women, especially in educating and upskilling them.”

Former WWE Wrestler, Mike Halac dies at age 55

Former WWE Wrestler, Mike Halac who competed as Mantaur in the 190s dies at age 55.

His death was confirmed by his daughter, Demi Halac in a statement shared on social media.

In her words;

“He went peacefully in his sleep. He’s no longer in pain. This really hit home to lose my father, he will forever be in my heart and many others. I love you dad. Make the skies beautiful for me.”

Before his death, Halac debuted as Bruiser Mastino for the Catch Wrestling Association in the early 1990s before joining the World Wrestling Federation as Mantaur, a role based on the mythical half-man/half-beast Minotaur character, which was fitting for his 400-pound frame.

He was open about his battle with diabetes, but continued to compete in the ring until 2019.

May his soul rest in peace!!!!

A Grandmother in Arizona has made sure that her casket is well themed before her death.

Mary stocks Martin who is a retired teacher from Snowflake, Arizona died at the age of 86 on February 9th 2023 whereby her casket was presented to guests on the day of her burial.

Late Mary Stocks funeral was held at LDS Love lake chapel in Taylor Arizona on february 18th.

During a chat with FOX 10 Phoenix, One of Mary’s grandson’s said that his Late mother worked as a school teacher for 30years.

“She used to initial everything ‘MSM,’ but that ‘S,’ in cursive of course, looks like M&M,” he said.

“The students started bringing her M&Ms, memorabilia and it just turned into something that she reflected on as part of her success as a teacher.” He continued

Before her death, Billy disclosed that his grandmother (Mary) built her M&M Shaped casket years before her death.

Couples Joshua Emmanuel, 38, and wife, Mercy emmanuel, 38, laid to rest after Involving in a motor accident in Kaduna state.

It could be recalled that the accident happened on March 8th around Barnawa area of the state as the couples were on their way to the bank to withdraw cash.

The couple were expecting their first child after getting married in 2021.

They were both laid to rest at their residence in Ugwan Barde Sabo Tasha after funeral mass at St. Clement Catholic Church on Friday. March 10th, 2023.

Most wanted Nigerian Mafia woman leader who lead prostitution in Italy arrested in Abuja (Photos)

A Nigerian woman who has been wanted in Italy since 2010 has finally been flown from Abuja to Rome after been on the run of arrest.

In a statement released by the Italian police, it revealed that the woman, Joy Jeff was arrested in 2010 and sentenced to 13 years in jail for criminal conspiracy, slavery, people trafficking and living off proceeds of prostitution.

According to the italian police, they said she has been one of the few women on Italy most wanted list as she is described as a prominent figure in the Nigerian mafia.

The italio police made it known that Joy Jeff played a leading role in trafficking women in italy, netherlands and Spain whereby women are forced into prostitution by violence and threats.

The statement reads below……

The criminal is one of the few women included in the list of 100 dangerous fugitives, drawn up by the integrated joint group for the search for fugitives of the Central Directorate of the Criminal Police

This extradition represents the first provision under the extradition treaty between Italy and Nigeria, signed in 2020, and was possible thanks to the joint work of the Nigerian judiciary, the Italian ambassador in Nigeria and the Italian Ministry of Justice.

Following an investigation by officials of the International Police Cooperation Service (SCIP) in the African country and the issuance of a red notice in 2010, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian intelligence service, managed to track down and arrest the woman on June 4, 2022, thanks also to the collaboration between the Italian immigration expert in Nigeria and the local police forces

The statement quoted Vittorio Rizzi, deputy chief of police, as saying, “Today Africa is confirmed as a strategic area for the search for fugitives and the fight against organized crime. Developing African countries also represent elective places for the laundering of the illicit capital of organised crime and Italy is committed at an international level to facilitate, through penal and administrative instruments, the tracing of the illicit assets of the mafias for their seizure and confiscate
