Meet Mangbetu people who deform their heads to give them beautiful looks in Congo

Have you ever heard of the mangbetu people? They are humans that lives at the north eastern part of congo.

In their tribe, they are known for her big heads and this set of people practice “Lipombo” and this began in 1950s.
Lipombo is a practice when a newborn baby is one month old, their heads are tied tightly with wrappers in other to give them that big headed shape.
During the ancient days, the people of the republic of congo shape heads big because it illustrates Intelligence.
The Mangbetu people are not in the technologically world of the 21st century. They are found in the rain forest area where they engage themselves with fishes, animal husbandries and also huntings.
They never believe in the Immortal god we worship, they believe in a god called “Kimilia and Noro”. They also believed that Humans can also be reborn into animals.
This tribe are known for their nature hairstyles and also history status of head “Deformations”
