on

Popular TikToker Taylor Rousseau Grigg has passed away.

Her husband, Cameron Grigg, shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram, alongside by a lengthy caption that reads: “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.

“This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that, she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.”She is the most brave and strong woman I know, and her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there.”

“More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world. And even though her earthly body may have failed her, her memory and life will be carried on forever.
“While her earthly body is still here waiting to give the gift of life, we know her spirit is in heaven dancing in the streets made of gold with all her beauty and grace. Her endless shoe/boot collection. And her rhinestones and turquoise jewellery.”

“With this being so sudden and unexpected we don’t have anything financially in order. Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married which has affected our financial situation, therefore we don’t have any insurance.
“A friend set up a gofundme for anyone who would like to contribute. And even if you can’t contribute financially, prayers for our family are always needed. I’ll share the link and really appreciate if y’all would share it as well.(sic)”

Woman who was declared brain dead wakes up from coma for the 1st time

Published

on

A woman who was declared brain dead has spoken to her family for the first time since being admitted to the hospital.

Emma Price, who was induced into a coma due to an overdose on painkillers, reportedly took the drastic step after suffering from bullying.

According to Emma’s family, they were initially shocked when doctors informed them that she was paralyzed on one side and that tests showed no signs of brain activity. Despite the grim prognosis, Emma has defied expectations by regaining consciousness and beginning her recovery.

Her brother, Thomas, shared her story online to raise funds for her medical expenses. Speaking to WhatsTheJam, he said: “She is now conscious and had her first meal today. She is also out of critical care,” Thomas explained.

“When she first went into the hospital, the doctors said she had no brain activity when they did an MRI scan. We were also told she was fully paralyzed on her right side, but she is now moving her arm and leg.”

Thomas continued to describe the challenges ahead for Emma, who is now able to speak but still suffers from brain damage. She will need to relearn many everyday activities.

“We have no time frame for when she will be out,” he said. “She needs to learn how to walk again and be able to stand on her own. The medics are trying to get her to eat proper meals as well. It could still be weeks until she is home. But she will never be the same Emma we all knew. It’s going to be a really long road ahead for her recovery.”

Despite the severity of the situation, Emma’s family experienced a moment of relief when they spoke to her on the phone for the first time since her ordeal began.

“We phoned the hospital, and the staff put her on the phone to us, and she said, ‘hi,’” her dad, david recounted. “It’s a relief that she is conscious again. But I’m sorry to say she has got brain damage now. Though she is very strong.”

Joe biden steps down from American presidential race

Published

on

President Joe Biden has officially stepped down from the U.S. presidential race. The 81-year-old Democrat made the announcement today.

His statement reads below……

“My Fellow Americans,

Over the past three and a half years, we have made great progress as a Nation.

Today, America has the strongest economy in the world. We’ve made historic investments in rebuilding our Nation, in lowering prescription drug costs for seniors, and in expanding affordable health care to a record number of Americans. We’ve provided critically needed care to a million veterans exposed to toxic substances. Passed the first gun safety law in 30 years.

Appointed the first African American woman to the Supreme Court. And passed the most significant climate legislation in the history of the world. America has never been better positioned to lead than we are today.

I know none of this could have been done without you, the American people. Together, we overcame a once in a century pandemic and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. We’ve protected and preserved our Democracy. And we’ve revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world.

It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my

I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision.

For now, let me express my deepest gratitude to all those who have worked so hard to see me reelected. I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this work. And let me express my heartfelt appreciation to the American people for the faith and trust you have placed in me.

I believe today what I always have: that there is nothing America can’t do – when we do it together. We just have to remember we are the United States of America.”

Nigerians are not the only ones facing poverty- President Bola Tinubu

Published

on

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu acknowledged the poverty and suffering faced by Nigerians, emphasizing that these challenges nigerians are not the only ones facing it.

Speaking in Lagos on June 17, during a visit from a National Assembly delegation for Eid-el-Kabir, Tinubu stressed the need to tackle these issues head-on.

The statement was made through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

“Yes, there is poverty; there is suffering in the land. We are not the only people facing such, but we must face our challenges. We must find a way to eliminate banditry and terrorism so that farmers can bring out food from the farmland. If you do not have good roads to bring the food to the population, even if you grow the food and you are losing 60-70 per cent to damages, you will pay the price.

“The need (for some citizens) to change the rent-seeking mindset and become more productive to the economy is a challenge. The need to stop smuggling and all economic sabotage. Why should we have people removing rail tracks and all that, stealing electric cables and sabotaging the economy?

“We must embrace the campaign to change our value system. We must tell our people that the challenge we face is for all of us to change our mindset about our country” the President said
