48yr old man kicked out from Australia after death of his 104 girlfriend
A 48-year-old Estonian lawyer, Mart Soeson, has been sent from Australia to estonia after failing to convince authorities of his romantic relationship with his late 104-year-old girlfriend, Elfriede Riit.
Mart’s relationship with Elfriede began after his permanent resident visa application was rejected in December 2018. read here
He appealed the decision to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, where he had to prove that his relationship with Elfriede was genuine.
In an interview with MailOnline, Mart revealed that despite their relationship, they never shared a bedroom or engaged in a sexual relationship.
He acknowledged the age difference, saying, “Yes, I know we have the age gap, and I know it’s an issue for some people. But generally, the age gap is only seen as a problem when it’s an older woman and a younger man. No one questions it when the roles are reversed, but I can’t change that attitude.”
During the tribunal, Mart tried to justify his reasons for staying in Australia: “I have a job here. My home is here. I gave up my meaningful life in Estonia, including my career and family ties, to be with Elfriede in Australia. I have friends here, and although Elfriede is no longer alive, she’s here, along with my grandfather, who is buried here. I have my reasons to stay and visit my close ones in the cemetery as well.”

I have never fallen in love in my life- Ayra starr
Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr recently revealed that she has never been in love with any man before. In an interview with Dazed Magazine, Ayra shared that, although she’s eager to experience love, she hasn’t had the opportunity yet.
She explained, “I want to fall in love. I wrote ‘Lagos Love Story’ based on what I imagine love would be like. I’m a lover girl deep down, but I’m also very strong-willed about it. I’ve never actually been in love or a fully committed relationship.”
Ayra also mentioned that her busy career has made it hard to explore love. “I’ve been working since I was 15—modeling, going to university, and now touring. I’ve tried putting myself out there, but I don’t think I’ve had the time.”
She added, “I’m just enjoying myself as a girl. Sometimes I think, ‘Let me sing to a cute boy today,’ because I can – why not?”

Woman found dead one week after getting married to her partner of 10years
A nurse, Melissa Jubane, who recently married her partner of 10 years, was found dead after being reported missing earlier this week.
According to reports, Melissa, a nurse from Portland, had been missing for three days. Her coworkers and neighbors were worried since it was unusual for her to disappear without notice.
Melissa did not show up for her morning shift at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland on September 4th, raising further concerns.
In a statement released by the Beaverton Police department, it reads below……
“Case Update: 9/07/24
Investigation Update — Melissa Jubane Found Deceased
On September 4, 2024, at approximately 10:18 AM, the Beaverton Police Department received a welfare check request for 32-year-old Melissa Jubane of Beaverton. Melissa, a nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in SW Portland, had not reported for her morning shift, raising concerns among her coworkers, friends, and family.
“Beaverton Police officers responded to Melissa’s residence at 1050 SW 160th Avenue, in Beaverton. Upon arrival, officers were met by staff from the apartment complex and conducted a search of Melissa’s apartment. Melissa was not present, and her absence without communication was deemed unusual and alarming.
Efforts by officers and family members to contact Melissa throughout the day were unsuccessful, as her phone appeared to be turned off. Additionally, searches of Melissa’s bank and credit card records yielded no new information regarding her location.
At 3:12 PM on September 4th, Melissa was entered into national law enforcement databases as a missing person.
As a result of an extensive investigation, it was determined that one of Melissa’s neighbors, 27-year-old Bryce Johnathan Schubert of Beaverton was involved in her disappearance. Subsequently, Schubert was arrested this evening and charged with Melissa’s murder. Melissa Jubane’s remains have been recovered.
This is an active investigation. While we acknowledge the significant community interest and concern, we must withhold further details to preserve the integrity of the investigation. Tips related to this case are still welcome. Please call 503.526.2280 to provide information.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community members who have assisted with the search for Melissa. Our deepest condolences go out to Melissa’s family, friends and coworkers.

It is greed for a woman not to allow her husband cheat- Woman
A Kenyan woman has sparked controversy on social media after advising women to allow their husbands to cheat with other women.
In her statement, she suggested that women should always feed and satisfy their husbands but, if they discover their husbands are cheating, they should accept it as a way for them to “change their diet.” She emphasized that it is not a woman’s place to question her husband’s motivations for cheating, labeling such behavior as greedy.
In her words: “Allow him to be with other people. He has to change his diet. They said they can’t eat githeri daily. Don’t shout at him or ask him where he was and with whom. Never touch his phone.”

10yr old girl sent back home from school after dying half of her Hair
A 10-year-old girl named Evie Smith has been excluded from school after teachers deemed her half-blonde hair “distracting” to other students.
Evie had dyed half of her hair blonde to match her favorite artist, Melanie Martinez, ahead of a concert in Manchester later this month. Martinez, known for her split-dye hairstyles inspired by Cruella de Vil from “101 Dalmatians,” was Evie’s source of inspiration.
On her first day back at school, Evie was sent home and instructed to return only after changing her hair back to its natural color. The school stated that her hairstyle did not meet their standards. However, Evie’s mother, April, has decided to keep the hairstyle until after the concert on September 21, 2024, and is currently homeschooling her daughter.
Evie expressed her disappointment, saying, “It makes me feel really disappointed in the school.
“They’ve singled me out because of my hair. It wasn’t distracting; it was in a ponytail, and nobody was touching it. All my friends think it’s really cool, but they don’t think it’s distracting.”
Evie added that her hair allows her to express herself, and she admires Melanie Martinez for turning negative comments into empowering messages through her music. “I love her songs and what she means in them lyrically because she tries to turn bullying words into compliments,” she said, excited about the upcoming concert.
Her mother defended her daughter’s individuality, stating, “Evie is a smart girl, hitting all her targets, getting good school reports, never late, and never missing any school. We’ve never had any complaints about Evie. All her friends love her.”
April emphasized the importance of self-expression for children, especially in today’s world. “Evie is so quiet, so it was a big thing for her to have her hair dyed. I thought it was great, and I’m proud of her for being different and not following the crowd.”

200lvl student of OOU arrested for killing 300lvl IT student
Adeleye Ayomide, an undergraduate student from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), has been arrested for the abduction and murder of Idowu Christianah, a fellow student.
The incident began on August 19, 2024, when Christianah was reported missing. Her abductors contacted her parents through her WhatsApp account, using the ‘view once’ feature to send photos of her in captivity, and demanded a ransom of ₦1.5 million. Christianah’s family managed to raise ₦350,000, which they transferred to a betting account as instructed.
Despite receiving the ransom, the kidnappers requested a copy of the sender’s bank statement, which was provided on August 23. However, all communication from the kidnappers ceased soon after.
Investigators discovered that part of the ransom money had been deposited into Christianah’s GTBank account, then withdrawn into a Wema Bank account linked to Adeleye Ayomide, a 200-level OOU student. On August 26, investigators began tracking the accounts, and by August 29, they found that the BVN linked to the betting account belonged to Ayomide. Before the betting company froze the account, Ayomide had already withdrawn ₦100,000. Evidence also showed that Ayomide and Christianah were connected through Instagram interactions.
Ayomide was arrested after investigators pieced together these findings.
Authorities tracked Adeleye Ayomide’s mobile device to his family home in Ikorodu, where military personnel from the 174 Battalion were deployed to arrest him. During the search of his phone, incriminating evidence was found, including Christianah’s phone, bank records linking him to the crime, and email exchanges between him and the victim’s family.
On September 3, 2024, Ayomide confessed to killing Christianah and burying her at his family home.
Further investigations suggest Ayomide may have been involved in the suspicious deaths of his ex-girlfriend in 2018 and his biological sister in 2020, under circumstances similar to those of Christianah’s case.
