A Kenyan woman named Joyce Gichinga recently shared her experience of being rejected by a man after he learned that she works as a cleaner. 

In an interview with Tuko, Joyce, who owns a cleaning company called “Washers Inn,” opened up about the incident.

Recalling the moment her date found out about her job, Joyce said, “I went on a date with this guy, and he knew the nature of my job, only for him to make it clear that he wouldn’t date a cleaner.”

“I didn’t take offense since men also are allowed to have a preference but the audacity of inviting me out when he knew my job got me thinking. I made a decision to not retain him even as a friend because being a friend means believing in me.

Despite the rejection, Joyce remains proud of her work. She shared, “I didn’t feel bad about my job because I’m raising my daughter single-handedly, and it’s my only source of income. Plus, I provide jobs for others. I thought, you don’t know what you’re talking about.”

A woman has taken to social media to express her frustration and sadness about her life, feeling that she hasn’t achieved what she considers being “woman enough.”

In a tearful video shared on TikTok, she revealed that she is 30 years old, unmarried, without children, and still struggling financially. She openly expressed how difficult life has been for her.

In the video’s caption, she wrote, “30 years old, no husband, no child, and I’m still broke. Life is too hard,”

A Kenyan woman, Mish brown has advised ladies never to agree to be a second wife to a man who is already married.

In her message to women, she emphasized that no wife would willingly accept another woman coming into her marriage as a second wife, especially when she was the one who built the home from the ground up.

She also cautioned women to stop interfering in other people’s families, stressing the importance of respecting the boundaries of established marriages.

She said: “”There is no wife who can build her family, she started with her husband from scratch then accepts you to come and eat her husband’s money.

“Stop trying to interfere with people’s families. There is no wife who will accept you to eat where you were not built.”

A young woman, identified as @afiapretty, recently took to social media to express her frustration about being single.

In her post, she shared her thoughts on how many pretty ladies, including herself, often remain single.

She also noted that she observed that these women are rarely seen with a partner when they go out, which made her reflect on her own situation.

Feeling emotional, she lamented that time is passing by quickly and voiced her concerns about getting older without having a family of her own.

A couple who has been married for just a month has shared their thoughts on the possibility of welcoming another woman into their marriage.

In an interview with Tuko, Ibrahim Ndirangu Nduya, 95, and his wife Tabitha Wangui, 90, revealed that their love story began in 1962 when they met in Nanyuki, Kenya, where Ibrahim was raising goats.

When asked about the idea of bringing a second wife into their marriage, Ibrahim explained that having more than one wife was permitted in their culture. He shared, “I would have gotten another wife when I had Wangui, which would have been fine. My father, too, had two wives. However, the idea of having a second wife was never conceived in my heart.”

His wife, Tabitha, was open-minded about the idea, stating, “Why would I deny him? I cannot stop him from bringing another woman as a second wife.”

Social media influencer Gracie Bon has finally responded to trolls who accused her of undergoing procedures to enhance her body.

In an Instagram post, Gracie shared a photo of her natural body before deciding to focus on fitness. She addressed the criticism, advising people to stop hating on girls for simply being themselves. 

Gracie emphasized that being plus-sized doesn’t mean she can’t wear what she wants, and she’s no longer ashamed of her body. She confidently stated that she won’t dislike her body just because others do.

An elderly man in Ghana has expressed his sadness over how his wife left him after their divorce, leading to financial struggles.

In an interview with Ride and Chat, the taxi driver shared that his wife walked out of the marriage, leaving him to work hard and provide for his family on his own. 

He advised men to be cautious of women who do not want to stay with them when they become financially unstable, noting that some women seek divorce once their husbands lose everything.

The man also encouraged men to invest in buying land instead of spending large sums on white weddings. “The money you spend on a white wedding could be used to buy a piece of land,” he said.

A woman named Kristen Lammert, who gave birth to all four of her children on the same day, has shared how each of them was naturally conceived with the same due dates.

She revealed that her daughters—Giuliana (6), Sophia (9), Mia (3), and Velentina, who is 4 weeks old—were all born on August 25th. 

Kristen also mentioned that while all the pregnancies were natural, her two youngest daughters were born prematurely.

She said: “They were all conceived at different times, it wasn’t the annual Christmas party date.

“My last two daughters were premature, so they weren’t even due for weeks, yet they managed to make their appearance on their sisters’ birthday too.

Talking on how she had always wanted a big family, she said: “We had met in 2009 whilst we were both working as pirates at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom,” 

“We started dating and then we married in October 2014. 

“I’m one of three siblings and Nick (Her husband) is an only child, so for different reasons we both wanted to have a big family.

Kristen shared that she gave birth to her first daughter, Sophia, on August 25th, 2015. When Sophia turned two, Kristen and her partner decided to try for another baby. She became pregnant in December 2017 but never expected that their second daughter, Giuliana, would also be born on Sophia’s birthday.

“When I fell pregnant with Sophia we were both delighted.”

“We were so shocked when I actually gave birth on the 25th August after all that,

“To have both daughters with the same birthday was such a coincidence. We couldn’t believe it.”

Kristen explained that during her third pregnancy, her due date was in September. She and her husband had no idea their third child would also arrive on August 25th. 

However, during that time, she developed hypertension, which led to pre-eclampsia. This condition caused her to go into labor five weeks earlier than expected, resulting in their third child being born on the same date as her older siblings.

She added: ““They had to break my waters as I’d gone in to early labour,” recalls Kristen. 

“But I went into labour on the 23rd August, so I never imagined that she would be born on the girls’ birthday. 

“But I was in labour for 36 hours, which meant that she was born on the 25th too. 

“By now, Nick and I really couldn’t believe it. We didn’t know anyone else who had ever had three girls born on the same date.”

The couple were thrilled with their three daughters, but decided to have one more baby to make their family complete.

“We were looking forward to actually having a birth date different from the 25th August this time,” 

“I had a dull headache first and I went to the hospital to get checked out, but I was so convinced it was nothing, that I didn’t even pack an overnight bag with me, as I was so convinced I would be sent home again. 

“But it progressed from mild to severe very quickly,  and then the next day I lost my vision.

“Doctors said I would have to give birth as I had a risk of a stroke or a seizure because of the pre-eclampsia. 

“It was so scary, my only thought was I had to have this baby – I didn’t want to leave my other three daughters without a mum.”

“My body seems to have its own way of doing things – and I slow labour for 36 hours, and then suddenly everything speeds up and the baby is born,” she says.

“Fate definitely played a part in it.

“There was no way that her three sisters were all going to share the same birthday, and let Valentina be the odd one out. 

“I felt sorry for the girls having to celebrate their birthday in hospital so we got pizzas in the hospital room, and told them we were having a pizza birthday party.

“And when Valentina arrived a few hours later, it really was the best birthday present that any of the girls could have asked for. 

“Sophia actually wished on a star a few days before her birthday that her new sister would arrive on that very day. So her wish certainly came true. She was over the moon.”

“Pre-eclampsia can get worse with each progressive pregnancy,” explains Kristen. 

“So it wouldn’t be safe for me to try and get pregnant again. But anyhow, our family is complete now with four girls. 

“And it’s an easy one for birthday parties coming up as we only have to do it one day a year. 

“All the girls have been born on the same day, exactly three days apart. 

“We have been told the odds are 17 billion to one, and I certainly have never heard of it happening before.”

A heartwarming video has gone viral on social media, capturing the special moment when a man proposed to his girlfriend while flying in a plane.

In the video shared by Skytrade Aviation, the question “Marry me” was creatively written on the beach sand below as the couple flew low in the plane.

The surprise left the lady in shock, and she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the proposal message.

Overjoyed, she laughed in disbelief before saying “Yes,” while eagerly waiting for her fiancé to place the engagement ring on her finger.
