Nollywood actress Ini Edo has finally responded to those curious about the paternity of her daughter.

The actress, who is a proud mother to a 3-year-old girl, recently shared her experience on the reality show Young, Famous & African. During the show, her co-stars expressed interest in her personal life, leading to questions about her family.

When Luis asked if she had a child, Ini confidently replied, “Yes, I have a baby girl.”

“Are you married?” Nadia asked. 

“I’m not married,” Ini replied 

“Are you together with the dad?” Nadia questioned. 

“No I’m not,” Ini said. 

“Is he still alive?” 

“Well, I don’t know,” Ini replied to Nadia. 

“Girl, is he dead or not? It’s a yes or no question,” Nadia insisted. 

“He’s not dead. He doesn’t have anything to do with us. We’re just two people. Just me and my child.”

Speaking about her motherhood journey, she said: “My journey is one that I have not really been wanting to talk about because it’s personal.” 
“I’m raising her alone,” Ini finally told her co-stars. “I went through surrogacy”. 

 “There was no man in my life at the time and I wanted to have a child. There are different ways to go about that.” 

Later in the show, Luis is seen discussing his thoughts and research on surrogacy. He shared his growing interest in the process and revealed his openness to the idea of having a child through surrogacy.

Reacting to this, she said: “I don’t think surrogacy is something people just wake up and say that’s what they want to do,” 
She added: 

“I never thought I would be someone who had fertility issues. But I’ve had issues carrying pregnancies long-term. 
“When it looked like it was not going to happen the way I wanted it to happen and I wasn’t getting younger, I said, ‘What are the option? What is available to me?’ 

“And then, this option came up, so I took it.” 

“And I’m very happy with my decision,” she told her co-stars.

TV personality Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey, have welcomed twin daughters, marking a joyous addition to their growing family.

The couple, who married in April 2021, are now proud parents of four children.

Announcing the exciting news on social media, Jedidiah wrote: “They’re here!! 💕
Introducing Elsie Kate and Emma Kate! Elsie was born on January 8, 2025, at 2:06 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and Emma followed at 2:13 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounce. Both girls are healthy and beautiful!”

Israeli actress Gal Gadot revealed that she suffered a blood clot in her head earlier this year, shortly before welcoming her fourth child.

In an Instagram post, the Wonder Woman star shared that she had to undergo emergency surgery as a result of the clot.

She wrote: “This year has been one of profound challenges and deep reflections, and I’ve wrestled with how, or even if, to share a personal story. At the end, I decided to let my heart guide me. Perhaps this is my way of processing everything, of pulling back the curtain on the fragile reality behind the curated moments we share on social media. Most of all, I hope that by sharing, I can raise awareness and support others who may face something similar.

In February, during my eighth month of pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a massive blood clot in my brain. For weeks, I had endured excruciating headaches that confined me to bed, until I finally underwent an MRI that revealed the terrifying truth. In one moment, my family and I were faced with how fragile life can be. It was a stark reminder of how quickly everything can change, and in the midst of a difficult year, all I wanted was to hold on and live.

We rushed to the hospital, and within hours, I underwent emergency surgery. My daughter, Ori, was born during that moment of uncertainty and fear. Her name, meaning “my light,” wasn’t chosen by chance. Before the surgery, I told Jaron that when our daughter arrived, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel. Thanks to an extraordinary team of doctors at @cedarssinai and weeks of dedicated care, I made it through and began the road to recovery. Today, I am fully healed and filled with gratitude for the life I’ve been given back.

The journey has taught me so much. First, it’s vital to listen to our bodies and trust what it’s telling us. Pain, discomfort, or even subtle changes often carry deeper meaning, and being attuned to your body can be life saving.

Second, awareness matters. I had no idea that 3 in 100,000 pregnant women in the 30s+ age group are diagnosed with CVT(develop a blood clot in the brain) .
It’s so important to identify early because it’s treatable. While rare, it’s a possibility, and knowing it exists is the first step to addressing it. Sharing this is not meant to frighten anyone but to empower. If even one person feels compelled to take action for their health because of this story, it will have been worth sharing.

I’m so grateful to have had your Aunt Katina(who also cut your cord) and nurse Hannah by my side. 🙏🏾

American Tv personality, Kristen Doute and her partner, Luke Broderick, are expecting their first child together. 

The couple shared the joyous news exclusively with PEOPLE, alongside adorable photos of Kristen’s baby bump and ultrasound images.  

Reflecting on their journey, Kristen opened up about their struggles with pregnancy loss and how they kept trying for another baby.  

“After our pregnancy loss last year, we decided to start trying in early 2024. “I knew my age could be a factor in conceiving, so Luke and I discussed going for an extra push, a little help.” she shared.  

She added: “In late summer, we decided to meet with a fertility specialist to learn about our options and what could be the next step if we decided to go that route. The next month was a whirlwind — getting educated on fertility, and eventually hormone shots and preparing my body for IUI (intrauterine insemination) 

Talking on how she and her husband met with Dr. Carolyn Alexander at Southern California Reproductive Center she said: “The two weeks following the IUI procedure felt like years. To get a correct outcome on a pregnancy test, 2 weeks time had to pass and I had to wait it out but in my heart I knew it had worked. I tested one day early and got the big PREGNANT result staring back at me.” “I was relieved, overwhelmed, happy, excited and nervous. The second I told Luke, he wasn’t surprised, but was SO happy that IUI worked the first time (we were prepared that it may not). He was joyful and beyond excited, to say the least! Our due date is in June and we are really looking forward to expanding our little family and becoming parents!” 

Angelina Jolie has shared a rare update about her children while speaking in an interview with Good Morning America. The actress and filmmaker opened up about her family life amid her ongoing divorce from ex-husband Brad Pitt.  

Jolie, who shares six children with Pitt—Maddox (22), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16)—revealed that none of them is interested in pursuing acting or stepping in front of the camera.  

“They’re quite private. Shiloh is extremely private. They weren’t born into privacy, so I hope they can have that as they grow,” she shared.  

Reflecting on her journey as a mother, she expressed how much her children mean to her:  

“It is my happiness. You can take everything else away from me. Nothing else matters.”

Jolie also discussed her starring role in the film Maria , where she portrays Maria Callas, a renowned opera singer.

Jolie revealed that learning to sing opera for the role was a unique experience, but it came at a cost to her children:   “All of my children suffered through my early opera singing in the house before I got kind of good. It was a nightmare,”* she joked.  

Although, Jolie and Pitt are still entangled in divorce proceedings. In October 2021, Pitt sued Jolie for selling her half of their winery for $67 million without his consent. 

The couple, who were together for over a decade, married in August 2014 but separated in September 2016 when Jolie filed for divorce.  

Cher has opened up about how her late friend and colleague Tina Turner sought her help during her abusive marriage to Ike Turner. 

Tina, who passed away at 83 in May 2023, once confided in Cher about her struggles and asked for assistance to hide her bruises.

Recalling one incident, Cher shared: “One of the days we were shooting, she came to my room before we went on asking if I had some cover-up. She had a bruise on her arm she didn’t want showing on camera. I told her I had something that would work.”

During that time, Tina also sought Cher’s advice on how she had managed to leave her ex-husband, Sonny Bono, whom she married in 1969 and divorced in 1975.

Cher told her: “I just walked out and kept on going.”

Cher revealed she herself had sought advice from Lucille Ball when considering leaving Sonny.

“I called Lucille Ball to ask for her advice. I told her, “Lucy, I want to leave Sonny and you’re the only one I know that’s ever been in this same situation. What should I do?.” She said

In October 2023, Cher visited Tina for the last time before her death. Despite Tina’s health struggles, the visit was filled with laughter.

“I got to see her. She was lying on the chaise and said, “I’m tired,”‘Cher said.

“Then for two hours we were running around the house, and she was laughing hysterically. She added  

Tina had often spoken openly about the abuse she endured during her marriage to Ike Turner, detailing the physical and emotional toll.

“Busted lips, black eyes, dislocated joints, broken bones and psychological torment became a part of everyday life, “I tried to keep myself sane while managing his insanity.” Tina Once said 

In 1968, she attempted suicide by taking 50 sleeping pills backstage before a concert.
