At least 44 dead from drinking toxic alcohol in Iran after coronavirus cure rumor

Iranian media reports that a minimum of 44 people have died from alcohol poisoning and hundreds are hospitalized after consuming bootleg alcohol in a shot to treat the coronavirus.
