Twenty-five individuals were killed when a traveler transport dove into a gorge on Indonesia’s Sumatra island after its brakes evidently failed, police said Tuesday.
In any event 14 others were hospitalized with wounds following the accident, remembering one for basic condition with bone cracks, said neighborhood police boss Dolly Gumara. The accident happened just before 12 PM Monday on a twisting slant in South Sumatra area’s Pagaralam locale.
Gumara said the transport dove into a 80-meter (262-foot) – profound gorge and collided with a quick streaming waterway after the driver lost control of the vehicle in a zone with various sharp slopes.
The transport was set out toward the common capital of Palembang from the neighboring city of Bengkulu.
